Terms and Conditions

By signing up for classes or participating in activities using Romita Tennis, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

Bookings & Cancellations:

All classes must be scheduled through the Romita Tennis website, regardless of whether the participant pays online or in person. All rules and policies apply equally to participants who pay in person. Consent is required.

Consent forms is required for Junior and Adult Programmes before participation. All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via our online system or in-person. Entry to any session is not permitted without confirmed payment.

Clients holding a pass are required to provide at least 5 hours’ notice—either online or via direct contact—if they are unable to attend a scheduled class. In the absence of prior notification, the client will be assumed to be attending. Failure to attend without notice will be charged the lesson price.

Health & Additional Needs:

During the booking process, please include any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or learning disabilities. If needed, email us directly so we can make appropriate arrangements and support your participation.

Injuries and Medical Considerations:

If the participant is injured or have a medical condition that could affect lesson, please provide this information before booking a session. If you are deemed medically unfit to play, we will issue a credit to your account.

Refunds & Credits:

Classes are non-refundable for late cancellations.

If the lesson is cancelled by the coach or the client 5 hrs before the lesson, a Credit code is issued to the client which they can use to book any future lessons.

Refund or Credit may be granted for emergency situations when a client or student cancel a lesson at the last minute. Such requests must be supported by a medical note or other exceptional circumstances.

Course Cancellations by Romita Tennis:

Romita Tennis reserves the right to cancel any course. In such cases, it will be offered to participants the opportunity to join alternative sessions or courses. Ensure appropriate credit is provided if a suitable replacement is not available. The lesson can be cancelled or reschedule 5 hours prior to your lesson booking time.

Weather:

The Tennis lesson will run in rain depending on the tennis court surface. In case the surface get to a condition is unsafe for players including, slippery surface, within 10 min of the lesson, the full lesson can be credited or reschedule.

Please be aware of the weather condition and tennis court surface before booking your session. The tennis lesson under light rain condition, it is suggested to wear appropriate attire for rain weather.

Programme Enrolment:

Booking Priority:

For term-time programmes, priority booking is offered to players currently enrolled in the existing term. Once the maximum number of attendees is reached, a waiting list may be created. Customers will be contacted if spaces become available.

First-Come, First-Served:

Outside of priority booking windows, Wainting List, all places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Missed Sessions:

Missed sessions will not be credited or refunded unless:

There are exceptional circumstances (e.g. a valid medical note).

The session was cancelled by Romita Tennis.

Safeguarding and Care:

Supervision:

Children in junior courses and camps are fully supervised during sessions. Junior participants must stay on court unless given permission by a coach. Coaches and Assistants do not supervise children outside of lesson times or if they use the courts on their own. Junior who hold mobiles are not allowed to use the phone during junior camps. Players may bring a phone but must hand it to the coach before the session starts, and the phones will be returned at the end of the lesson. A short break will be given to check phones if needed, under coach supervision. The reason we do this because we encourage players to focus on tennis, learning, and socialising.

What to Bring:

Children must come prepared according to weather. This includes: Hat and sunscreen, rain jacket, proper tennis shoes, water bottle. A shirt must be worn at all times during sessions. Please also bring a sweat towel if needed. If the participant don’t have a racket, you’re welcome to borrow one for your session.

We also have a selection of junior and adult rackets available for purchase at our club shop.

Going Home Alone – Permission Required

If you would like your child to leave on their own after a session, written permission must be sent in advance to:

If we do not receive written permission and cannot reach a parent or guardian, we will keep your child safely with us until they are picked up or contact is made.

The coaches and assistants cannot accept any responsibility for items lost, stolen or damaged on the premises. Please respect and follow site rules and safeguard rules and ancillary facilities which are made available for use by all of the community.

Drop-In :

You're welcome to drop-in, but please note that spaces are not guaranteed and depend on availability. If a class doesn’t have enough students, it may need to be rescheduled. You will be notify in advance to secure your place in the next class. Booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. If the class is full and you have not booked in advance, you can join the lesson with an additional £5 fee.

First-Timer Voucher:

New students who book a lesson through Romita Tennis will receive a voucher to try a lesson of their choice for free.

Minimum Participant Policy:

Classes may be cancelled if only one person is enrolled. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and reschedule to a future lesson.
